Overview
A wireless mobile controller that expands to cradle the phone between its grips and connects via Bluetooth. Connection and Operation
Powering On and Off

Input Modes
To switch modes while the controller is on: Press and hold the pairing button plus the A, B, or X button for two seconds depending on the desired mode.

Connecting to Android Devices
- With the controller off, press the pairing button + A button to power on; the connection indicator will flash rapidly.
- Open the Bluetooth menu on the phone, select the device named "GameSir-X2s Bluetooth", and tap to connect.
- A solid yellow connection indicator means the connection is successful.
- For subsequent use, simply press the Logo button to power on, and the phone will automatically reconnect in reconnection mode.
- If the controller was not previously connected using the pairing button + A combination, it must be powered on again using the same combination.
Connecting to Apple Devices
- With the controller off, press the pairing button + B button to power on; the connection indicator will flash rapidly.
- Open the Bluetooth menu on the phone, select the device named "DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller", and tap to connect.
- A solid dark blue indicator means the connection is successful.
- For subsequent use, simply press the Logo button to power on, and the phone will automatically reconnect in reconnection mode.

Direct Touch Gaming on Android Devices
- With the controller off, press the pairing button + X button to power on; the connection indicator will flash rapidly.
- Open the Bluetooth menu on the phone, select the device named "GameSir-X2s_G", and tap to connect.
- A solid light blue indicator means the connection is successful.
- For subsequent use, simply press the Logo button to power on, and the phone will automatically reconnect in reconnection mode.
- Direct Touch simulates a virtual touch unit on the phone, reading controller commands as native screen touches; it does not work on Apple devices because the system prevents external customization features.
Charging
- Use the included cable with the charging port on the bottom edge to charge the controller.
- All GameSir controllers include overcharge protection; charging stops automatically when the battery is full, and the indicator usually turns off upon completion.
- If charging pass-through to the phone fails: Enable "Direct Connection" in phone settings, change the order of connecting the charging cable to the controller, use a charger supporting the fast charging standard up to 9V/3A, or replace the cable.
- The controller accepts a maximum input of 9V/3A.

Turbo
- Adjustable buttons are A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, and RT; frequency is 20Hz according to the official manual page.
- To enable Turbo: Press and hold the screenshot button, then press the button you want to set Turbo on; a double red indicator flash confirms success.
- To cancel Turbo from a single button: Press and hold the screenshot button, then press the button that has Turbo enabled.
- To clear Turbo from all buttons: Press and hold the screenshot button + Logo button for two seconds; a double green indicator flash confirms success.
- Turbo settings are saved after reboot.
Calibration
- Connect the phone to the controller, then press and hold G + S + Logo buttons for three seconds until the connection and charging indicators flash rapidly, entering calibration mode.
- Rotate both sticks at maximum angle three times and let them return to their natural position.
- Press both triggers to their full range three times and let them return to their natural position.
- Press the A button to finish and exit calibration mode.
- Perform calibration movements steadily and gently to avoid recording errors. Do not calibrate if sticks and triggers are working correctly.
Reset
- To clear all function settings: Press and hold Logo + S buttons for three seconds.
- There is a reset switch on the bottom edge labeled in the official manual diagram, but no usage steps are printed in the manual or on the official manual page.
Companion App and Firmware Update
- Visit the GameSir website from your phone or scan the QR code printed in the manual to download the GameSir app.
- Use the app to update firmware, test buttons, and adjust stick/trigger zones.
- The app also allows adjusting stick/trigger dead zones, remapping face buttons, switching between analog and quick-trigger modes, and configuring Turbo.
- To revert to a previous firmware version: From the main app page, tap the controller icon, enter the firmware update page, select "Other versions," and choose the previous stable version.

Buttons are pressing themselves continuously. Turbo is enabled. Press and hold the screenshot button, then press the affected button to disable Turbo for that specific button, or press the screenshot button + Logo button for two seconds to clear Turbo from all. Note: The general FAQ on the manual page mentions an "M" button, which does not exist on this controller.
Pass-through charging isn't working with my phone. Enable "Direct Connection" in phone settings, change the order of connecting the charging cable, use a fast charger supporting 9V/3A, or replace the cable. The controller accepts up to 9V/3A; both the phone and charger must support this standard (v2.0 or later).
Buttons and sticks aren't working on Apple devices. This is due to "AssistiveTouch" being enabled. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch and disable it.
Stick drifts or trigger not working correctly. Connect the phone to the controller, press and hold G + S + Logo buttons for three seconds until indicators flash rapidly, then rotate sticks three times and press triggers three times, finally press A to save and exit.
Direct Touch customization feels laggy or unstable. The Direct Touch mode has limits imposed by the communication protocol; its performance is slightly lower than other modes, which is normal. If it affects gameplay, switch to software mapping.
Can I use XInput via Bluetooth? No, Microsoft imposes restrictions that prevent this mode from working via Bluetooth. Launch games through the Steam platform to utilize its button customization features.
Are spare parts sold separately? Internal spare parts (electronic components, buttons, ports, receivers) are not sold separately. Available separately: generic cables, faceplates, carrying cases, stick caps, anti-friction rings, thumbstick covers, and chargers.
Does overcharging damage the battery? All GameSir controllers include overcharge protection; charging stops automatically when full, and the indicator usually turns off.
